A preliminary study for the design of a hotel at the corner of King and Charlotte Streets in Toronto. The intent of the study was to determine not only the feasibility of the site, but to adapt the design of the hotel to the site. Based on analytical techniques from “The Social Logic of Space”, by Hillier and Hanson, the study allowed us to address the needs of the site through the design of our hotels. Visualizations and flythroughs of the analysis realized our statistically-derived interpretation of the site.
